With ALPHA Core Banking, COOCPAC CCIA propels itself among its peers

The landscape of microfinance in Cameroon is enriched with the arrival of a new operator. It is the Caisse Communautaire d’Investissement en Afrique.

This first class cooperative society is entering the MFI arena not without having armed itself with powerful tools to carve out a place for itself in the sector. Among these tools is the acquisition of a license right for the ALPHA microfinance software.

Indeed, ITECH SARL and the COOCPAC CCIA ratified last October 2021 a protocol of agreement giving right to the CCIA a right of use of the Alpha platform and its modules: Alpha Microfinance; Alpha Web; Alpha Report; Alpha Banking. It must be said that the new structure would like to impose its mark in the geostrategic sphere of finance in Cameroon. Its ambitious visions, its strategy and its diversified offers are strong signals that suggest that an ambitious vision underlies this desire to equip itself with the ALPHA range, reputed to be an innovative, adapted and easy to use software.

It should be remembered that there are a large number of MFIs in Cameroon, which implies strong competitiveness under the watchful eye of the regulatory bodies. With the plurality of the offer, the populations have a growing appetite and are increasingly demanding.

To provide an effective response, COOCPAC CCIA is playing the technology card, among other things. There is no doubt that it will very quickly prove that it has bet on the right niche.
